Speaking of performance, how do 404 rwhp and 446 lb-ft of torque sound? Despite the EcoBoost’s small 213ci displacement, the twin-turbo V-6 pumped out impressive figures thanks to a custom dyno tune and Triple Dog GT programmer from Bully Dog. Giving the new engine even more power, a Bully Dog cold-air intake system and Corsa high-flow exhaust were installed. Amsoil synthetic fluids keep the engine protected at a modest 13 psi of boost, while SPAL electric fans keep the engine nice and cool.

So the SPAL electric fans cool better than the factory electric fans, really??? Bully dog has always been behind in the Diesel market(Dodge/Cummins anyway) they are way too traceable by the dealer, key counts, odd ball factory stock tunes etc... Nice #s, but after dealing w/ their customer service many MANY times, I think I'll pass.

I have never been a fan of their diesel stuff either, I have found their claims over rated. The only ones that I have seen that do well, are the custom dyno tune stuff, but that is few and far between.
The good news is, that the coding potentially has been broken, so we should start seeing stuff in the next couple of months.
As for the fans, remember, these are customizers looking to showcase and sell products. I doubt the SPAL fan is better than the OEM, but it probably LOOKS cleaner on a show vehicle.

those are damn impressive numbers!
I won't be the first to put a tune on my ecoboost, but you can believe I will after I see some real world testing if things work out. for me, it's exciting to be in on the front side of the development and watch it take place....much like i did on my ls1 f-body's in the early 2000's.

Before I'd put one on I'd have to: be out of warranty and, see what an oil analysis looks like on an engine that's had one on it for a while, paying particular attention to the wear metals. If the iron, lead, chromium and copper levels were elevated much over a stock engine, I'd have to think long and hard about it.....
