No, I sure didn't. Thing is, that might be just one of several missing steps.

All I need is the torque procedure for the crank bolt and the torque procedure for the cam phasers. I found a video on YouTube on how to line up the timing marks on the chain and sprockets. The timing tool for the cams is on ebay for about 175.00. I'm a mechanic by trade, not automobile, so I can figure out the rest. I will try and take a lot of photos to document if I have to end up changing the chain.

If you find that you have it I would greatly appreciate it. I'm Gona start pricing all the parts tomorrow. I sure wish there was an inspection plate on the timing cover you could take of to look at the main tensioner and see how many teeth are showing. You can see the secondary tensioner by taking the valve cover off. I have no idea how to check the cam phasers with the proper equipment at the dealer. I guess I'll have to bring it to them to get a definitive diagnosis. Thanks for all the info by the way.

Regardless who makes it, I'm not a fan of long timing chains in truck engines. Yeah, with all the new DOHC, high tech workings, that make a ton of HP, them long chains give me the heebie jeebies.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to get it from the dealership. It's the least they can do considering.
