Default broken coil connector

So I changed my plugs last nigh in my 11 xlt screw 3.5tt, had 55000 on them and it was shuddering between 60- 80 on the highway, so I figured it was time. Well being that it was 10degrees last night and I had gloves on I didn't press the tab down all the way on the coil plug when I went to remove it and broke the internal clip that holds the pug to the coil on plug connector. So where do I find one of these, and what are they called? Lucky for me zip ties are doing the job now, but I need to get it replaced, to put my truck back together.
thanks for any help

oh by the way, the shudder is gone, and the old plugs where all past .045 gap, and one was cracked(passenger rear cylinder)

If I'm understanding properly then you will have to go to Ford and get a new pigtail, and wire it in.

If you are talking about the red lock tab, it will be fine without it. I have 2 or 3 broke on mine because they are a PITA! I have had no issues with them staying connected.

Oh that piece. Don't be so hard on yourself!
Zip tie or splice a new one in is about your only option? I guess you might find yourself spending some time at your local Ford parts counter? I would guess at that point that zip tie might do just fine?

It happens, don't beat yourself up about it...

As long as it is secure with a ziptie or some good tape, I wouldn't worry...not worth replacing in my opinion.

Ditto here. I broke a couple before I learned how to properly remove them. Zip tie FTW!

yeah... it happens. I broke one two years ago on a toyota camry. Zip tied it back....30K later with no issues. Drive it every day to work.
