Bought my firts truck, and it's an Ecoboost !
My first car I bought in high school was a 1990 ford escort. It was a POS but what did you expect for $900.00 right? Never thought I'd buy another domestic car in my life until I saw these trucks at a dealership and realized how far as a company Ford has come along. Wow ! I'm very impressed with the build quality, the ride comfort, and the amenities of the interior. The pick up is smooth and powerful and the steering feel isn't bad for car this big and heavy. I like the quietness in the interior from the engine. It gives a very relaxing driving experience. Gas mileage is ok but I think the 15mpg average is could be better (my m3 with the v8 actually gets better mileage right now) Perhaps once I out more miles on the engine (it only has 300 miles right now) it will improve? I'm very happy with the vehicle. It's the first car I've ever purchased with the intention of keeping it until it can't run anymore. Looking forward to using it this winter!

Congratulations!
Your gas mileage should go up, but some if may be driving habits from the Mazda. I noticed when I went from a small car to a truck I had to change some of my driving habits. The price you pay for the aerodynamics of a brick.

Are you tired of your m3 or do you need something that the f150 offers (space, utility, winter driving, etc) more?

I'm not tired of the M3. Since I bought it, I have moved to a smaller town (meaning I am driving on dirt roads more often) and I have bought a house. In the city, when you don't have to use the truck that often, the M3 is the perfect car. Actually, when I lived in the city, I was considering the F150 but ultimately decided against it since parking it would be a bitch. Now my circumstances have changed in favor of the truck.
I'd love to be a baller and keep the M3 but I have a feeling my soon-to-be wife would rather trade the M3 than have a car payment.
