Default Boss 302 Intake

Anyone running this mod to their F150 5.0 and if your are how do you like it? This will be my next mod but wanted some feed back on your experience. Hate the look of stock intake and this Boss really helps that out and heard 50 plus horse power at rear wheels can't go wrong there

I assume that in order to see that type of gain you're gonna need a new tune to go along with that intake.

Not sure how the intake is on your trucks 5.0 but on mine I gained around 20-25hp and all they power is made at 6500-7800 rpm. Do you really want to move your power band that high on a truck?

The gain you make in HP will be a loss of Torque where these heavy trucks need it--low & mid range.

Go with a 5star CAI+Tune and Boss 302 intake manifold. You will not be disappointed.

You mite want to look at 5 Stars website, and take a look at the dyno charts. The Boss intake and 5 Star tune helps the bottom end torque a pretty good amount as well as top end.Mine is getting the intake shortly.

Check that out all they had to do to get it to fit was trim a little of the soundproofing off the firewall and dress up the hoses. Note that it requires a tune to do that but the 93 tune that Mike wrote is pretty sick.
