Finally got my headers and boss 302 intake installed, sounds good and is very responsive but the exhaust has a loud humming sound at a certain RPM like 2500 that is annoying and the boss 302 intake makes a disrupted hissing sound that comes from the purge valve, if I pinch the purge valve hose it stops it what could be the issue there that it's making a hissing sound

Did it all yourself? How do you like the power? I liked the way the headers a lot.

The humming is probably either the exhaust touching some of the heat shields, or either the exhaust has drone and is resonating. As far as the whistling noise, mine makes it also....Its probably just some of the plastic casting in the intake tract somewhere making the noise.

My manifold don't do it all the time only when it wants if you pinch the hose coming from purge valve to the manifold at the neck of where the throttle body hooks up it will go away for the duration of the pinch

My mechanics did it for me as my job don't allow me to much time to do things

Really wanting to do this to my truck ... Did you notice any power loss down low at all?

I didn't notice any loss in the pants dyno at all
