Today i received my 5 star tunes! I ordered a 91 perf and 91 perf/tow for these upgraded BW turbos. I loaded up the perf tune a few hours ago and i have the perfect tune now. Nice throttle input, perfect shifts, boost levels that are "controlled" and taper down with higher rpms.

If you guys are seriously looking on getting these turbos dont mess with MPT or LET in my opinion!. 5 star nailed it with power and saftey. And was so simple just filled out the form like their regular tunes(separate link for BW) They also have a pakage deal so anyone looking i would order it from them as a package.

After 5 months of dealing with logging and emailing take it from me just get 5 star!!!


As for my most recent tune from MPT it doesnt run well above 4000rpm. My truck "farts" which is raw fuel hitting my cats so its running way too rich. And doesnt taper boost with rpms. So it hits 18psi and holds it as it shifts at any rpm level.

That's awesome that their tune works so well! Keep us posted on your results, mileage ect with the 5* tune.. As soon as I get these turbos I will be running the 5* tune. Hopefully end of the summer!

5 star is thee best. I just went for a nice drive. I gave it enough time to learn the new tune and thought i would let it all out. WOT is crazy so much low end power. At 3500rpms what i want to call a power band like a 2 stroke dirt bike it just pulls even more till 5500rpms. All this at only 16psi of boost! Im loving these turbos and truck so much. With low boost i feel this tune is really safe for the long term
