Default Boost and spark?

Does anyone know if the tuning on these motors pulls boost if the spark isn't what it should be? (or conditions cause by poor spark)

Here is why I ask!

I just changed my stock plugs (that were already gapped to 0.30") at 45,000 miles with another set of stock plugs gapped at 0.30" again.

Before the plug change I would usually see while at WOT in the mid-rpms about 16-17 psi of boost.

After the plug change in the same conditions I am seeing 18-19 psi of boost while at WOT in mid -rpms.

Is there anything to explain this or just crazy coincidence?

Well I thought of one scenario on the drive home from work tonight that would make this happen. I had to work around where I tied into the vacuum line. Had it been leaking a little bit around that I very possibly could have bumped it and "sealed" it up.

All I know the truck idles better and seems to run smoother, though, it could just be in my head.
