ARE THE TURBO'S OK?!

That sucks man. I would be devastated if my Eco decided to excrete any type of fluid. I would be curious to see what they say the issue was... Good luck with everything and keep us updated!

These threads are so predictable.

In before someone responds, "Yea, but the 5.0's have lost engines too."

If Ford has sold 200,000 Ecoboost F150's, and 0.001% of them fail catastrophically, then this will happen to 2 trucks.

UPDATE: i called and they have it in the garage already and they noticed the serpintine belt is broke and assume the engine overheated and spewed oil and antifreeze but unsure of any internal damage. They said it does crank so it isnt seized

If it overheated bad enough to spew oil, then something internally is damaged. Bad.

Keep your fingers crossed!
We've got two 5.0's on this board that have seized up, can't have any Eco's yet! ;-)
Best of luck!

This is the problem with logic... it just makes too much sense and should not be used on a forum.

I have the exact same cooler on my EB. Hope it isn't a contributing factor lol

That sucks though about your truck. Keep us updated.

That chunk of metal looks to me like possibly part of the block? It's happened before with the 6.2L, see the raptor threads. Kinda hard to believe though that a rod would let go and send itself through the block, but like what was said before 0.001% will have failures.
