I had 5* MPT Unlleashed and SoCal for my Eco and they were all good but I liked my Unleashed tunes the best. You can't go wrong with any of them. I would buy just the tuner and try the canned tunes first, no big power gain but a bit better fuel economy
On the first round you will become a tune ***** anyway so buy one or two from everyone then come back and tell the next guy what you like best lol.

Lol ^^^ no, I think all mentioned here are good, but I actually have a 5.0 which is what he has and I think was asking about and you have a Eco? So 2 different platforms but Im sure most tuners can tune them both but IMHO SSi writes a darn good tune. I think he will be happy with what most have mentioned here, but the ssi tunes shifts are super smooth. If you like hard rough shifts then ssi is not for you, but I prefer super smooth with awesome power. Good luck and I hope you end up very happy.

Default Best tuner and support at a good price

at first I had the livernois tunes. While they were good over all I wanted to go a different direction and drove stock for a while.

I now have custom tunes from 5* and they are amazing. Diffidently woke the truck up and any adjustments I ask for are done in less than 24 hours. Their tunes have some safety margins built into them so I don't have to worry about data logging. The fact they offer a warranty with the tunes says it there. Just turn the key and go, which is what I like.

Mpt hands down is the best for these trucks I've had a five star and a dunk tune for my truck and my truck by far runs best with the MPT and they have amazing customer service. Ken their lead tuner worked for sct and trained other tuners how to use the software. If you have Facebook join high performance 5.0 f150s lots of guys on there have switched from many different tuners and are very happy

One thing is for sure with custom tunes, every truck is different, one custom tuner may be awesome on one truck and not so much on another.
My truck likes 5 star tunes I've come to find out.

Great point you made. Every truck is different to some degree thats why you have to have the correct strategy and info or the tune wont even have a chance to run right. Data logging is a good idea just for yourself to check basic numbers and especially knock numbers. If you don't want to data log then you probably should stay stock. If anything doesn't seem right return to stock immediately and get with your tuner.

He did say "and support"

SSI is polarizing, doesn't seem to be many people in between...I walked away due to lack of support...tunes were great, but could not resolve an ongoing issue for over a year and a half. Long story short new tunes out and asking for more $ every time when original problem never was fixed....oh and didn't have issue stock nor on SCT base tune.
