if you do the neg battery disconnect does that reset all the settings I have for MFT? not a bid deal but if I try it I would like to write down everything before I lose it.

It takes about 15 minutes for the MFT to lose all settings if you disconnect the battery. Most of them should be retained up to that point. I have never disconnected mine so I don't know what it will remember or not. I have had a rental Taurus that I did the reset on due to a phone issue and it seemed to have reset absolutely everything. I would assume the F-150 is the same.

Pick up a plug for the cig lighter with battery in it to keep your body module programming.

It just dumps your user preferences you set, nothing from the factory is dumped or changed. Basically like you got it from the dealer.
