Anyones 6.2 making a motor noise?

6.2L tapping from bottom end
What could be the problemt then? I've ruled out multiple factors with this same issue I'm running into. I just has the head sent off and looked at by a machine shop, they didn't find anything wrong. Please tell me someone knows where this, "tapping", is coming from.

FWIW, my previous car would sound like a freakin' diesel at startup some days, but never missed a beat even when driven hard, so you never know...
