The farmers appreciate us using it but beyond that the whole concept of E85 is a bunch of horsht.

We all pay taxes to support production and distribution, then buy the fuel at slightly reduced prices, but the vehicle burns a lot more per tank.

If they'd make it about 70% less expensive per gallon than reg unleaded, then it's almost break even.

Yep ran a full tank once and that will be the last tank of that! Did seem peppy'er but gas mileage sucked, lost 4-5mpg. Price has to be 25% less just to break even and where I live its only around 30 cents. Messed up the average mpg and miles to empty and couldn't get it back to normal until about 3 regular gas fill ups. And yes I did reset the computer guage after E85 and fill ups.

I ran it in my 3.7 and MPG is terrible. I knew it had less energy content but didn't expect it to be that bad. I'm usually at 19-20 MPG in mixed driving but saw 14-15 MPG.

If it was substantially cheaper it might be worth it but not at a ~10% discount.

I got about the same with my 3.7L too. I will stick with the 87.
