Yes, change it. 5k miles at the most. Btw, this is the 09-14 forum.

Or, you can go by the IOLM and change it when the truck needs it.

There are at least as many opinions as there are members here!

True dat. I'm in the "early change club" and think it should have been changed already.

Do what the manual tells you. I used the OLM and changed around 7500 miles with full synthetic. And this is the 2011+ Engine Forum so you are in the right place.

That should be changed. 09-14 engine sub forum here and 15+ engine sub forum under the 15 general forum.

Doesn't make sense. The engines were the same from 2011-2016. Any new engine thread should start with a new engine, the 2017 which is totally new.

Then it should be co linked in the 2015+ forum. But then there is this issue.

They don't have an engine related question sub forum over there. If you co link it to this one, they could potentially post engine questions from 2017s in here, which wouldn't relate to the 09-14s.

Or you make them a separate engine forum just for them. Or you combine all of them into one mega engine forum..

Or you get rid of the engine forums and let everyone post engine questions in the general truck forums for whatever year of truck they have.
