Default Anyone converted 2012 BOV to 2013 BOV

I have a 2012 ecoboost and have purchased a Ford Racing Crate engine to replace my blown one. It is a 2013/2014, not sure, which have different turbos and BOV location. The 11/12 have the BOV on the turbos. The 13/14 have one pre intercooler....I think. Has anyone ever done this BOV conversion? Or can take a pic of how the 13/14 are plumbed. Trying to figure out what I need to do. Any pics would be great. Thanks!

The 13 BOV is actually part of the CAC, it screws in like the oil fill cap. You might be able to get someone to fab you a charge pipe that you could just do a reg BOV with.

The BOV on the 13s is also electric versus vacuum on the 11s/12s.

I would be most concearned with ECU programing as tune to operate pids would be different with 14 turbo/bov setup an where is your wire harness?

Good point on the harness. I just realized some other differences.

-vacuum lines
- MAP/MAF sensors
-intake routings (wires/vacuum lines)
-charge pipe
-cold side pipe
-CAC (mentioned)

I am sure there is more, but having breakfast with the kids makes it hard to think

Thanks for the replies. I knew this would get interesting. The crate engine comes complete with everything you need....I think except wiring harness and ecu. It has a electronic gas pedal, tubing, coolant reservoir. You name it. 2 large boxes if stuff. I'm sure the piping and BOV is included also. I called ford before i purchsed and they said it would hook right up.....we will see next week. But then again, they think there is nothing wrong with the ecoblewst.

Maybe change the ECU to a 13 or 14 model year.

Just curious...you have a 2012 ecoboost you blew the motor...and you purchased a 2013 crate engine...ecoboost again. Was the 2012 not under warranty?
