Default Anybody go from Superchips to SCT?

I sold my Superchips tuner and ordered an SCT, when I go to tune my truck it gives an error while unlocking processor. I called mike this morning and he answered very quickly and basically we got that my strategy code was different than the one on my ecu. I know some of you have made the switch I did, did any of you have the same issue? He agreed it is odd that the preloaded tunes don't work because they shouldn't care what the strategy code is.

Ok. While mike is writing me a new tune I called SCT, clearly there was an issue on their end too with the preload tune not loading. After running many tests we determined that my 2-way radio that is turned off and plugged into my cig lighter was the culprit. These crazy new electronics eh?

Yeah crazy. When installing the livernois tune it says to make sure everything is off and the tuner is on a level surface. If its on an incline would that mean less power on the install lol?

I switched from Superchips to SCT, but when I had the tunes written by Mike I pulled the strategy with the tuner and didn't read it off the computer. Mine does not match anymore either.

I don't have my custom tunes yet, but the sct 87 will hold a certain hill that stock, bullydog, nor sc would hold in top gear. Other than that it just feels a bit smoother. Kind of disappoints me that sct nor livernois can/will disable tire pressure sensors when the bullydog would and I think the Superchips would too.

I think it's because my new tune file was a completely different family. Yours may have been from the same file family, it would be extremely rare if yours were the exact same ecu code
