BTW SCT has their readable 87 octane tune when you buy into their software.
That's right, I forgot that!
The Flex/SHO not so much!!!

The amount of meth to substitute the fuel you need is crazy. I like it as a bandied until we get a real upgrade. We've done it, it works, we'll have some water meth stuff available next month. However, I'm not a tuner, but it does mess with your long term fuel trims. It's like actual methamphetamine. A little at the track, or in Mexico is great, but not as a long term fuel substitute. You have to use a 625ml/min nozzle.

I tuned my supercharged F150 with the L swap with the Racer software. First off if you have no knowledge on PCM/ sensor functions you have a very long learning curve. Don Lasota has a very good DVD for teaching the basics to tuning. If you don't have the time and patience you can cause some major damage. You need to log everything and make small adjustments. Plus you need to go through hundreds and hundreds of different tables to find all the settings.

Yep that's about it. However, it would be cool to see someone do it...

I've tuned using dfi, aem, projection, amd lt1edit (including 2 bar sd conversion from maf). I wouldn't touch the eb. I understand the DBW, knock algorithms, wb feedback, di, and tivct add about 3 orders of magnitude more complexity to tuning it.
