Trying to do research on engine code P0016 and how it may relate to timing chain wear, cam phasers or a defective sensor.

You can get the complete TSB's on Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums. Sign up and get free access.

Yea, I was searching on there and wasn't finding what I was looking for. Another simular site had more info, but still not what I was seeking. It's possible what I'm trying to find is not contained in a TSB.

You can always subscribe to https://www.motorcraftservice.com/vd...il/default.asp
Depending on what level of subscription you go for you can get access to all service manuals, TSB and other bulletins for your truck. Subscriptions are as low at 10 bucks for something like 3 days. During which you can download pdfs of everything you need. It's a Ford site, well Motorcraft, but you get factory service info. Worth the few bucks in my opinion.
I don't know if you'll find anything specific to that OBDII code. Good luck in your search for info.

But why do we have to pay to see what should be done on the vehicle that we paid $30k+ on?

Does that look correct? I'm wondering because it's an outside site and the Motorcraft one.
