I'm trying to decide if i want to tune my 6.2 yet, i know my SCT3 made a huge difference on my V10. From what i understand it makes a considerable difference with the throttle by wire new trucks also (no matter the engine)

I have driven all 4 engines, we have a 13' EcoBoost sales truck i drive a lot. Hands down for me the 6.2 was the only choice for me. I'm used to 8 MPG with my daily driver V10 Excursion so obviously anything is better then that.

A tuned 6.2 is great. I'd say the most power gain is down low, and the fuel economy increase in my truck was over 10%.

Interesting... I always figure "no free lunch" with aftermarket tunes. I picked up my new FX4 6.2L yesterday and drove through stop/go Phoenix freeway construction traffic, then up/down various hilly grades to get home to 5k' elevation. With total 180 miles driven yesterday (zeroed computer upon start), display showed 17.2 mpg which I thought much better than expected for a tight new engine plus mountainous terrain. I sure can live with that but 10% better would be even better!

I've been itching to compare non-Raptor 6.2L exhaust to the twin-outlet version equipped on Raptors. Bottleneck seems at headpipe to muffler/tailpipe junction, with notable reduction in tubing ID. Figured I'd watch for a Raptor S-Cab exhaust take-off, but if the only real difference is those dual tips - I'll pass on that as well as any aftermarket system. No need nor desire for droning resonant frequency noise inside the cab of my truck!

Then for your truck leave it stock..... none of the rest of us will really mind lol. The Raptor junk necks between the resonator and the muffler just like yours does. The stock exhaust is crap in general on these trucks at least with the 6.2. The Super Duty uses mostly a 3.5" system. I went 3.5" on my fx4 and won't go back. If the stock system at least stayed at 3" I may have left it be.

Ouch! My issue installing aftermarket exhaust stems from experience on my current (for sale) Nissan Frontier as well as several prior vehicles. I already had a Bassani stainless cat-back on my Jeep TJ plus Bassani's full x-pipe cat-back system on my performance modded 1991 Fox Mustang GT. When I saw Bassani had developed a cat-back for 2nd gen Nissan Frontier 4L, I bought one. Sounded sweet until I installed a Leer topper which trapped resonant frequencies under the chassis and transmitted that into the cab. I made an appt at Bassani and they installed a 1-off resonator tip which helped but not enough with that topper, so re-installed the OEM system.

OK, lessons learned. As an aging baby boomer who has likely done more muscle car hotrodding than most here, my objective is to avoid mistakes and regrets on aftermarket mods since I have an ordered ARE topper waiting to be installed this coming week. Um, as its said; "history repeats itself"...

No one contests you leaving your exhaust stock or preferring it quiet... and that's all I said in the first place. I just poked fun at you highlighting the my truck in your first statement. Didn't need a life story but thanks.
Not everyone else on here thinks some catback and a tune that someone else writes is a be all end all.... or simply just bolts on mud flaps, bug deflectors and those dumbo tow mirrors because that's where their knowledge base ends. Lol. Some of us build our own engines and even do our own custom pcm tuning for fun.... like me. In my case my company has absolutely nothing to do with vehicles... beyond needing them as a rolling tool box. There... my life story lol.

Hopefully you enjoy that thing after waiting so long for it!

Any significant increase in horsepower? Especially across the entire range, rather than only mid to hi range? On top of all that, any particular reason you went with the SCT, vice someone else's? Definitely got my money's worth!! Even if I just had the economy tune!! It's saved lots of money in fuel savings.
I also got the tow tunes which improve my tranny shifting and fuel mileage.
The performance tunes are great too! Better throttle response, tranny shifts, and good performance.

Worth every penny in my opinion!

Hey, thanks for the information, man; much appreciated. Definitely the kind of feedback I was hoping to hear.

How many miles are y'all getting out of a tank of gas(36 gal)? The cost to fill the tank up? MPG?

These guys are saying roughly 16mpg so:
16x36= 576 miles per tank
36x3.70= $133 per tank
