So I finally settled on a muffler finally, a Aero Turbine 3030XL something mellow but will give it a little rumble. Rest of the exhaust will be stock, debating a AFE intake also.

I'm torn on tunes, my other Fords I've had 5star tune and they have been fantastic! But I've heard good things about MPT and i'm debating on giving them a chance. I'll run a 87 performance tune all the time like I do with my Excursion.

I'm looking for stock tires right now never thought it would be this hard to find stock tires in good condition for cheap.

I just had a Borla ProXS muffler welded on, and a new non clamp on chrome tip. I don't like that , So I had them weld on a nice chrome tip. Another amazon order and 120 bucks to have it welded on with the chrome tip, which was 80 bucks alone. Muffler was 90.

Borla 40359 is a 3" in and 3" out. Sound is amazing. Borla is just the best in my opinion. Zero drone, I left the resonator in. Sounds amazing. The 6.2 is so deep sounding. Sounds stock when I am cruising, which with 3 kids that is what I need. But it really makes it sound great. Love the Borla and the price all in is under 240 bucks, much better than the 900+ for the catback with the same muffler.

Hell yeah that's the same one I have but with my resonator deleted. I love it too...pair it with the intake and tune and it sounds awesome! Glad you like it. I'm not a fan of the clamp on tips either.

Absolutely 200% true-ness !!

Unless I'm going on a trip out of town, I generally run the 87 Daily Street tune; I certainly prefer it over the stock tune, and it definitely has ***** over of giddy-up-ness. But the 87 and 91 Performance tunes seriously wake the truck up well over the stock tune; straight-up, it's a night and day difference .

BTW, just FYI, I've got the SCT Livewire TS+ Custom tuner; this'n:

HTH,

-TRM

***P.S. And, yes, you will most definitely see a drop in mpg if you utilize any of the three tunes I listed above; 'specially if you keep your tapper planted on the gas pedal like I do ...

Default Try SSI

I've just got a little 5.0 and it's all stock but I have no problem walking stock tuned 6.2s and that's with my peg leg 3.31! The SSI Tuned 6.2 is a BEAST!
