I have a flash paq and it says max 3000lbs with 87 performance and no towing with 91 performance.

Same here. No towing with the 91. That's interesting that the VIVID allow you to tow, but the Flashpaq does not. Hmm..

Got my superchips installed and thus far I'm loving it... Raced a 92 5.0 mustang stick shift and out run him three times. Only ran in 2wd as he rode in my truck during a 4wd launch and knew he couldn't keep up with me out of the hole if i was in 4wd.

Also seems to be a mileage improvement... At least based on my normal instant economy on the route I drive every day. Can't say for sure but I'll know after next week.

Just got my superchips tuner (1868). The available setting I have is
Performance (doesn't ask you to run 91)
87 octane
Tow Performance (ask's to run 91)
Stock
Econ
I'm assuming by people saying running 91 they mean the performance setting or do different super chips say different things?
So far I have 3200Km's on my truck just installed the super chip yesterday and HATE IT!
I lost my gear indicator, at cruising speed I feel I lost power and really got to spool up that turbo to get moving. It also makes a terrifying squealing noise like the wast gate is dumping, spooling, dumping, spooling. I'll try and upload a video. Today I turned on the truck and the check engine light was on, I was able to clear it but a pain in the ***.
It's making me nervous so I think i'm going to return it I've heard nothing but bad things about super chips for this truck and only good things regarding the Livernois program. May try that.

Here's the thing, if you revive a nearly year old thread about superchops tuning that should tell you something. Those turbo noises were talked about at length a year ago. I don't have any sounding that and I've been tuned over 20k miles. Get your money back and buy SCT or livernois.

good call Joewee3.5. I'll go with Livernois, as for reviving a yr old thread I don't know how forums work yet, just joined today but good point. I'll be checking the dates next time haha.
