Buy the Ford SP-534 plugs and they should be pre-gapped to about .032. If you are stock and not tuned, this is perfectly fine. RockAuto and a few other places have them for a couple bucks each.

You can easily do this yourself in an hour or less and for less than $30 bucks.
Thanks that's what I thought. I sometimes run an SCT Canned 91 tune, but I've been doing some towing lately so took it off. I'll go on the tight side of .032 then.

The price of SP534's went up at some point. I used to pay $3.99 each for them. A couple months ago I bought a set and I did a bunch of price shopping and they were $7-$8 each. I got them at autozone for $6.99 each

I have not drilled the hole yet. It's still in the shop and I'm going to fight for the warranty to get them replaced.

Ya couldn't believe how much they went up in price. Maybe made of better materials now? One can only hope that's why, though not likely

Also I found in the Warranty Guide that plugs are covered for 80k miles in the emissions section, I'll be asking about that.

No thanks I'll replace them myself!

Any recommendations on brand/type. Also is .30 Gap correct still or is there new info on what the correct gap is.
What size hole is everyone drilling?
I answered your plug question a few posts back. SP534's gapped to .030

It's so easy to change them yourself I would forgo the fight and just do it.

I know you are right, but to me it's the principle of the dang thing. Part of the purchase in the guarantee of the warranty. They should fulfill their obligation.

Regardless I am drill a 1/16 hole when I get it back, whenever that is. Also saw some posts about installing new BOV, would that help at all?

BOV wont help.

I understand your point but sometimes taking the path of least resistance is better. Crack a few beers and go to work. A little garage time never hurt anyone.
