Default another 5.0L oil ?
Does the 14' 5.0L come from the factory with synthetic or conventional oil? I'm planning on sticking with FoMoCo parts and fluids. Just wondering if anyone knows.

owners manual will tell you for sure. It's motorcraft synthetic BLEND unless your in canada than I think it's different?

XO5W20QSP - Motorcraft Syn. blend is what you should have from the factory


XO5W20QFS - Motorcraft Full Syn. is what you can use optional if you like


FL500 - Motorcraft filter

Same oil in Canada. The trucks are all made in the US they don't put in different oil at the manufacturing plant destined for Canada. (other then a few drops of maple syrup)
