I'm a sucker. Ordered adaptor... haha
So how accurate is this do you think as far as 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.. anyone test this? Isn't this calculated by the gyromometer or whatever it is called in the phone?
Also, look up Garmin tool for this, I think it's called mechanic. Has a lot of the same stuff as torque and some other cool features using diagnostics and GPS integration.

I read that it does... But of course not owning one I guess we'd have to plug in the device and find out!
I should say even if it doesn't have WB it will have narrow band and will still display commanded AF ratio and measured AF ratio by the ECU (though accuracy would be much less than EB).

You said that the AFRs were not what you thought what were you seeing ? reason I ask is this device may be giving you the narrow band readings from the other O2

My comments were simply my thoughts of the stock fuel tuning and not a reflecition of the type of guage used.
A narrow band guage is often times thought of as an air fuel switch as its really only accurate from say 15:1 down to stoich...... anything richer than that and their accuracy is questionable becuase the measurment changes very quickly.
Widebands dont do that and are dead on with what they read throughout the whole range (which is how my info is being displayed).
I was just surprised that the truck didnt run down into the 10.x:1 range (pig rich) when under full load. This has to be attributed to the direct injection though............ its what allows Ford to get away with 10:1 static compression and leaner than i would have thought fuel mapping.

Cool cool ! I was thinking it went super rich myself from all the sooty tail pipes.
I am a iPhone user myself but this may just be to good to pass up I need one !

Ya its way too good to pass up. Im so obsessed with knowing whats going on i had to have it before i bought a tuner.
And ya.......... they run leaner than i would have imagined. The black pipes are all about direct injection and the more complete burn/combustion.
Oh and another important thing i forgot to add. The torque program will allow you to LOG all of your data. Once you log a run you can have the program spit out an excel spread sheet to your email detailing every logged event of every sensor at every RPM!! Its amazing.
