LOL! ANd Mike at EcoboostPowerParts will GUARANTEE it cures the water accumulation issues as well as the rest of the PCV flaw related problems the EB has. Intake valve coking, accumulation of contaminates in the crankcase and engine oil, and the gunk buildup in the CAC.

Here is an example of a CAC removed yesterday and what drained out, and what was dripping from both the inlet and the outlet side of the CAC:

These must be ordered through a supporting vendor here.

Am I understanding this right: If you live in a colder climate, then it is likely you will have fuel in the oil?? I live in south Georgia. Should I be concerned?? I JUST bought a new 2013 FX4 ecoboost. I am beginning to feel bummed!! Also, I was thinking of using fully synthetic oil - good idea or bad idea?? Thanks

The can will get the moisture out. Have seen humidity like fog there where I had tp take glasses off at night to see where there was no fog.

My understanding is that all DI have this type of issue. I just traded off the Ecoboost for a 2014 Silverado, any plans on making a kit for it, too?

Water is more prevalent in cold temps and since cold starts involve fuel enrichment there will also be more fuel. Best is to watch your oil level...check in same level ground and at same time (truck cold, or truck warm when off, etc. to get accurate reading on dip stick) and smell dip stick. Fuel has very strong odor.

After first 500 miles of break-in, YES, good full syn and your engine will love you.

Thats been out for ages. GM went to DI with all truck and the corvette V8's this year. Easier install, call ecoboostpowerparts to order. Only needs single valve unit, less$

Not to add confusion, but I live in Upstate NY (can reach out and touch Canada) where it gets below 0°F many times (especially this past winter) and I did not have fuel in my oil after I switched to Mobil 1 0w-30 syn oil. Back in January when I hit 3,000 miles I changed my oil and the Motorcraft oil coming out did smell like gas somewhat. I'm about to hit 7,000 mile now and I've checked the oil many times and it smells like oil....definitely NOT like gas anymore.
