So how often are people draining these things? I've seen videos "after 150 miles" where it would appear the can is almost full. Do you really need to drain it twice with every fuel fill-up? Also, what happens when it get's full? With the stock plumbing, you're getting vapors back. If the can overflows, you get liquid introduced. I'd personally prefer vapor as to an injection of that crud.

Just wondering what the reality of it is. The principle is sound, but what's the real world headaches and dangers associated?

Be careful which product you purchase. I just ran into a few sites that are selling fake RX cans. I almost bought a fake from china.......

Not sure if this answers part of your question but I installed the UPR Catch Can on last Friday, normal driving over the weekend, MAYBE accelerating hard for a merge but really did not drive the truck hard at all. Went through a 1/4 tank of gas during that time and was AMAZED at how much came out of the can.

It's been in the 40's here, humidity kind of high (it always is here) but not actively raining or snowing, dry roads.

This is about a full cup of water/oil that was drained out of the catch can, after three days.

I guess what concerns me the most is before I installed the can this would all be injected straight back into the combustion chain?? How much of a mess must my internal engine parts be?

Is there a catch can system that does not require any holes to be drilled?

Just installed this one last Friday, hardest part was running the hoses.. SIMPLE plug and play.

We sell 3 brands currently (RX by McNally, UPR and Saikou Michi) with our biggest seller being the RX style kit but UPR makes arguably the best stuff out there. They are a little more expensive but their quality, fit and finish is second to none. The RX style kit is a great value with an average install time of about 30-40 minutes. So far I haven't seen a UPR install video longer than 10 minutes! In the end if installed properly they are both extremely efficient.

So what kind of volume is that? 4-6 oz? So in a full tank, you'll have 16-24 ounces? What's the volume of a can? What happens when you forget to empty it and liquid is injected back in?

Apparently, their the only one who really works because of our turbo engines. They're the only design who circulates that "pressure" in the crankcase no matter, if it's during the boost or idling. That's what the RX system claims. I've seen few of them in another tread but not a whole lot though.

I would like to hear from every owner who dealt with the issue mention above or the condensation built-up in the air-to-air cooler and who also have this dual check valves RX catch can installed after. I want to make the right decision before I buy this RX system and before drilling my "turbo tubes".

P.S.: I know there's a new TSB about this particular issue but I don't trust yet this TSB fixing the above problem of engine oil rising...

Thanks for all the help and comments!!!!
Can't imagine any of them being more effective than the UPR can I installed.. and NO drilling. About a 20 minutes install.

I'm pulling over a cup of junk out every 3 or 4 days.

THE UPR can I bought is massive, guessing close to a quart maybe more.

I would think if the can is full you're just going back to the way it was working before the can.. I don't think you'llama be pulling crud out of the can and back I to the combustion line.
