Hello everybody!

I have this oil level rising due to gas going in oil. It's been pretty cold this winter here, in Ontario Canada! I found out some infos about the RX catch can ( dual check valves). Apparently, their the only one who really works because of our turbo engines. They're the only design who circulates that "pressure" in the crankcase no matter, if it's during the boost or idling. That's what the RX system claims. I've seen few of them in another tread but not a whole lot though.

I would like to hear from every owner who dealt with the issue mention above or the condensation built-up in the air-to-air cooler and who also have this dual check valves RX catch can installed after. I want to make the right decision before I buy this RX system and before drilling my "turbo tubes".

P.S.: I know there's a new TSB about this particular issue but I don't trust yet this TSB fixing the above problem of engine oil rising...

It does work, I have had the same problem with the oil level rising during the winter months. Last year it also had a lot of fuel smell. This year no fuel smell but the level has risen quite a bit. I just installed the RX system on my truck 2 days ago and with only about 30 miles of driving out came close to 30 cc of yellow crap, mostly water.

Love mine but check your inventory of parts. I was missing (2) 5/8"-3/8" reducers and the 3/8" tee was a 1/4" tee had to replace that. And you'll have to buy more 5/8" hose cause they only send you 1" of it when you need about a foot of it to do it right.

So all in all its the best preventative maintenance item out there. But damn after spending $398 you'd hope all the parts were there to do it right in the first place w/o going and spending more to get the parts to finish the install.

No need to deal withe middlemen... email Tracy or Mike - they will get you all fixed up and quickly too. I agree that for 400. the parts should be there the first time. I had to abandon my install after I set the bracket and can due the lack of parts.

If you are in the colder weather I recommend the Monster can. I did the video above, so you can imagine a long trip in sub - zero temps and you need some more capacity. I upgraded and really appreciate the extra capacity.

I agree with Posi, definitely look into the monster can if you're in colder climates. I emptied mine a week ago on Saturday then Wednesday and again Saturday and just about filled a QT mason jar.
