I read some things that trucks end up running too lean and threw check engine light with this scorcher module after some time of driving. After removing module and driving 30 miles or so, light went away, then reinstalled and it happened again. To my understanding the guy installed and tested it multiple times. And when they tried to contact afe tech, they never got back to them. Would you know much about this? Because I am quite interested but not if I'm going to have problems.

If this is problem-free, it may be a good option for those worried about "possibly" voiding their warranties by flashing tunes. It's too bad that this is coming out 3 years after the Ecoboost was introduced, I may have purchased it if it was available before now.

Read alot about this, mpgs week go down only for the simple fact because you will probably mash on it religiously on every stoplight because the power will just be there. "Quote on quote"

My mpg's didn't go down.
I'm still getting 12.1

12.1? Sounds like u mash on it alot or simply sit in traffic all the time like I do. My truck gets 24mpg on the highway but only if I stay on the highway. City kills the Eco. Need to uncorporate start stop tech. It would go up at least a couple mpgs

^^LOL

We always get asked "will this increase my MPG" and while the answer is technically yes, those who buy these parts tend to use them for power and not economy
