AFE made a very noticeable difference. Wouldn't have thought so but I am very happy with it.

I've had my Limited for about 2 weeks now and I'm starting to consider upgrades. I like the sound of the stock exhaust, but I'm looking for something a little richer and deeper. I don't need it annoyingly loud. I'm thinking Magnaflow from everything I've heard through youtube so far. Anyone have suggestions? Has anyone here put Magnaflow on their 6.2 yet? What's the verdict?

Looking on here for answers will only confuse you, thats what happend to me. It seems its a 50/50 love it or hate it. I searched exhaust topics and you would here anything from (drone was so bad I couldnt stand it) to (no drone at all). It did seem thought that interior drone was worse on magna flows cat back system rather than those who replace just the muffler. Not sure why, other than the fact of magna flow removes the factory resinator in their kits. But I also read where some had removed and added a muffler and said it was fine.

The more I think about it and since I already bought it I may go ahead and have it installed.

Well, you're certainly correct, I absolutely do feel more confused about exhaust systems since I've started looking at things here... Thank you for your response. I'm definitely going to do something with the exhaust, just not sure what yet. I'm imagining Flowmaster is going to be much too loud and obnoxious for my taste. So far Magnaflow is at the top of my list. Anyone know about or have experience with Corsa? Borla? Stainless Works? I'm not sure that I've ever heard the 6.2 with anything other than factory in person. YouTube can only provide so much with the Raptors they show with Magnas and Flows.

Looking to put the Corsa on mine, as far as I know they only have it for the raptor. There was someone not to long ago I think stating they were going to try the raptor system but never found the outcome. Guess I need to call corsa once again to ask for an update

I just put in 93 in my tank a couple days ago and ran the 5star 93 perf tune, at first it really didn't seem really different than my 87 perfom tune but about 30 miles later it feels as if a rocket was strapped to my truck, I assume all the 87 worked it's way out! The crazy thing is, I have the 4.6 3V! I couldn't imagine what power you guys have. I was just posting as a testement to the 5 star custom tunes and now realize that my wallet will take a hit as it will be hard to go back to 87!

Mike at 5 star says he likes the Corsa systems. After looking at their site I could only find cat back systems and not just mufflers though. Im not looking at spending for a cat back.

I'm headed to a performance exhaust shop tomorrow. I'll see what info I can come up with and I'll bring it back here.

I called Corsa a few times now. I called them about 2 weeks ago. Sales guy wasn't sure so he went to the back and came back about 10 minutes later and told me mid summer.

About 2 months ago I guy at corsa said a matter of weeks. I am hopping that they have it ready by July.

Corsa has a very unique crisp sound. Loved it on my Vette!!!

Thanks for the update. I know when I got my truck just before the new year, I called mid Jan and they said they would have something soon, I guess I can wait till July, what's another few weeks...
