Can we assume that Ford has people monitoring this truck forum and others to see what is on the minds of F-150 owners?

If so, which of these posts is more likely to get Ford moving on better mileage for trucks?

This one:

I agree 100%. I sure wouldnt mind seeing better mileage, but I knew what they get going in and Im not gonna whine and complain about it.
Or this one:

I just can not understand why with all the technology now days that there is not a way to get 30 mpg or better out of a gas (or diesel for that matter) 4x4 pickup that can pull 10,000 lbs. I just think it is a very ignorant thing to say its a truck screw it the mpg!
Just asking, because in this world, the whiners and complainers seem to get their way.

To those with less than expected fuel economy, try using 'pure' gasoline (ie. without ethanol) as a test. You may have to run a couple of tank full before registering any improvement.
Nope there are not many hills here in Florida. and that is the truth i set my cruise at 70-75. I get those mpg on a regular basis. believe it or not thats what I get and I have the application on my phone that calculates the mpg and have been averaging around 18.2 mpg.

What does the application on the dash say? I've had mine east of the mountains here in pa (all flat) and haven't been able to break the 15mpg barrier(all highway). I should see a little better after I get 10k on the truck but I'm not expecting more than an additional 1mpg

The application reads about the same.. I usually reset the instant mpg before i get on the highway for a trip and it it usually right between 17-19 depending on conditions. I especially see 17 when my tank is full.
