The 91 performance is fun but I dont like the constant shifting.
I agree. I've switched to the canned tune from SCT and seem to like it better right now.

Hmm, shifting is perfect on mine, down shifts when it should. On the 91 p/t I get high 18 to low 19 mpg on Highway and low to mid 17's in stop and go city, little less for each with the 91 performance. If I get on it all the time those numbers drop a couple. I tried the canned tunes just for the hell of it and was not impressed at all. Guess every truck is different.

Default 5 Star Ecoboost Tune Reviews

I run 5 star on my 6.2 platinum and told a few friend about it. they rode in it and were blown away, they have 5.0s and 5.4s and they love the power that 5 star brings. I still blow them away lol and it's super fun to drive in 91 perf I don't get the best mileage obviously it's a 6.2 and I have heavy foot

Try the 87 tune mine performed flawless it holds the gears longer than 91 perf that Ive noticed but I like the rpm rev when down shifting in 91

Are your current tunes from 5 star? If so it's cheaper to add another one. I can't remember the exact cost of one tune though if not. I'm pretty sure their website says the cost

I ordered my 5* 87 perf tow, 93 perf tow, and 93 perf tune over 3 weeks ago. I received the tunes a couple days later but my truck wouldn't start so I contacted 5* and they said they would work with SCT to resolve the issue. The Customer Service was great for the first few days but it fell off extremely fast, no calls or emails notifying me of the status and I've been patiently waiting but I'm getting pretty fed up now!! Have any of you experienced issues like this with 5*?

The no start issue has been plaguing several of the different tuners. Something about an adjustment to the tables on certain strategies.

It is a small percentage that do have an issue, but it seems to be with the latest Sct update.

Again, this isn't isolated to 5 Star.
