I'm a 6.2 but I just stuck a canned 91 SCT tune in mine. The shifting is junk... like really bad. It shifts about the firmness I like but it still has way too much torque management and it hesitates almost in a sense because of it. Its a really crappy shift and I might reload the stock tune honestly for now. Mind you laying 20 feet rubber on a wot 2nd to 1st downshift is a lot of fun. Tires shred easily now lol.

I run the MPT 87 oct. Street tune and it has been great. Quick throttle response, power is there when needed, shifts are a little firmer when you mash the pedal but otherwise it's nice and smooth.

I asked about making an economy tune for my F150 and they wanted $600 (because the blower), screw that, I got a dyno tune for $550. Dyno tunes are great for power, but not fuel economy though lol. It's way to conservative around town. I'm thinking I'll buy the pro-racer package for $350 and tune it myself if I decide to get an actual economy tune for my f150.

Why are you disappointed? 3 days is their stadard turn-around time for new tunes or revisions, they have been swamped lately with tune requests so I doubt you will see a revision before that. How did you like the base tune?

I've decided to try them out for my Lincoln LS (as I had a tune on it from someone else and when I finally took it to the track two weeks ago and found out it was just as fast with the stock tune) and I've been waiting 2 days (today is day 3) since I sent in my data logs to get a revision. I'm not very happy with them at the moment.

Buy HP tuners if you want to go on your own. It's a lot more user friendly software with less loops and catches than with SCT. I am going to scrap my SCT shortly and take my own advice...
And honestly I have been waiting for a couple weeks with some of MPT's competition so a couple days isn't something I would get too wound up about.

I have been running a 87 Performance tune from Torrie @ Unleashed Tuning for about a year now and I have been very happy with it.
The other day I decided to try his 93 Performance tune. The does pull harder and shift harder. But the shifts seam to be out of sync if that makes since. Like when slowing down while in 6th it kinda seams like it takes a sec to decide what gear to go into if I get back on the throttle before coming to a complete stop. So I switched back to the 87 tune today.
I feel like there is still some left in the truck with the 87 tune. Although the tune eliminated most of the drive by wire delay I still think it could be much better. Seams like the truck doesn't pull as hard as it could at lower RPMs also.
So with all that being said I'm thinking of trying a 87 Performance tune from MPT with Race shifting. Anybody running this on there 5.0L?
