5.0L Oil Catch Can

Just installed a SilverHorse Racing can
OK, I decided to install a catch can and get one that I could do myself since I have the mustang cover and have my wire harness stretched across the passenger side. I like the SHR because it came with black matching anodized aluminum fittings with laser engraved logo. This is basically a Shelby that came without any filter. I installed a mesh screen on the inlet side from JLT. I got a 90* LH for a 2011-14 GT. They offer kits plug n play also, but I wanted to do my own. I spliced into the factory hose after checking and marking where to cut out about 2". I used gates Thermoplastic clamps (PowerGrip) to make a factory leak free seal, love those things.I don't like clamps or crimps. I used some Black high temp oil resistant RTV on the threads. Here are some pics of the steps and install. After I log some miles I will report back my findings. One thing too, don't try to screw fittings in all the way or you will break something. Just hand tightened and then snug up with a wrench about a 1/4 turn. The people at SHR and JLT are really good people and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from either. I just like the looks and fittings for what I am doing from SHR. In the last pic, the can is actually very level. It was the angle I took the pic that makes it look like it is sagging. But it is not.

Just a quick note. When I took my PCV hose off and checked there was a very very light coating of oil that it was almost dry. I check my oil between changes and it is always on the full mark. So I will see what this can comes up with. The can was $85 with fittings, screen filter $5, two gates thermoplastic clamps #32915 Oreilly's $6 and Black high temp RTV $5. about $101 dollars and a little time. Drove truck yesterday and it runs fine so now just a little mileage data log and checking to see what results I come up with.

You know, my truck will be here soon (built, waiting rail delivery) and I have no idea which 5.0 catch can to get. I need it shipped to Winnipeg, MB, Canada as well, so any online store I buy from needs to ship here.
I spoke to my salesmen and he said it would likely void warranty and I would need to remove it before I brought it in for anything that might need to be done. So, I need one that will remove quick and easy. I am thinking my best choice will be the JLT can...
EDIT: Called the service department where I bought my truck. They told me to leave it stock to protect my warranty...

I also talked to Service. That Act you reference is US Law. I am in Canada and do not know of any related Act. We also don't have a Lemon Law or related legislation here either. All power to the seller...

Damn, you're right! JLT seems to have the easiest to take on and off, but I think RX seems to have the "bulletproof" system. Removabilty (<--Not sure that's even a word! lol!) vs. performance.

I talked to my brother-in-law last night at Easter dinner (he's a heavy duty equipment tech and all around engine guy) and he says pretty close to what the last service guy I talked to said. I shouldn't need it and if my truck did, Ford should have included it at the factory. He also asked if I got the EcoBoost or not. Said he'd consider it if I had forced induction.
