So now I wonder how a remotely mounted UPR can would do. Since both are the same price and are pulling similar volumes (not types of fluid) I don't think I'd be too disappointed in either. When the funds become a little freer, I might have to get one.........or both putting them in the same area up front.

Remember, the Rx caught the same amount as the UPR positioned after the UPR (even with all of the UPR upgrades). Basically, the UPR caught 50%. The UPR caught barely anything positioned after the Rx (the Rx caught >95%). To me, that indicates the Rx catches considerably more than the UPR.

UPR Catch Can Update: In testing over the past 3 days with our Revisions to the diffuser and mounting location of the UPR catch can has proved to be Invaluable across the board ! I am very happy to share that we tested this on both an ecoboost and 6.4 Hemi 300 which have by far the largest demand on the PCV system.
We used a fender mount for the 6.4L Charger and a front mount for the F150 Ecoboost Truck with the revised UPR diffuser. Very important is that the UPR catch can is cool enough you can empty as soon as you open the hood !
The way they are mounted now you can grab the can without it being too HOT and the diffuser now creates a better internal cross-flow of air making it coat the lower wall and collecting in the bottom right away.
The testing we have done in the past few days has given us dry outlet / exhaust lines on both vehicles. This is a first for the kind of abuse we have put the vehicles through during testing to compound the stress on the system.
Most important thing for all current UPR catch can users is to mount the catch can out front or wherever you get a ton of air in a cool location will allow the can to perform ideal because of the location being so efficient.

Joe, can you show how you are mounting it on the F150? With the elbows out each side, it is wide for the front. Also, pictures of the improved diffuser to compare to what was shipped over the past months would be great. Thanks.

Cleaning up the direct ingection engines require a straight snap in kit to go with the basic can kit. Once that happens these are going to be great.

We are working on a Direct Plug n Play kit with the lines and everything to length and a simple mounting location. I will have pictures monday or tuesday the latest. I agree all this building and fabricating is not what the doctor ordered.

Sounds like you have been very busy. I can't wait to see what the new diffuser looks like. I will be swapping out my two new ones for the newly revised one. My hat is off to you for continuing to look for ways to improve your product.

RX can takes down the W. What a greatbtest and performance from the cans. Can't doubt the test and data now but I'm sure done if you still will. RX seems to catch more contaminates that oil which is a great sign.

We have had this challenge out there for years. Most start it, but then drop out after a week or s either due to the amount of effort to document all, or more commonly they see the drastic difference and as most challenges are from either loyal customers of the brand they intended to test against the RX (or were a rep of the can company) and did not want the results posted in public. We have taken this challenge for years, and although results vary from 5-10% for the cheap ebay type to some approaching 80% plus (only 3 others on the market get near that). But 95% fall into the 15-20% max effectiveness no matter how well known the name (and there are 30-35 cans all made by the same companies, same design, same size.
Remember, any can is better than no can, but when you get into the new direct injection engines of today, you need to stop all the ingestion to prevent the intake valve coking issues that plague all DI engines no matter what the brand.
