I feel you on that one..... I have been following the mustangs as well(auto-trans) and I don't think they are having as many problems as the manuals..

Yeah they dont, but the "purist" want a manual and they seem to be the ones who mod and beat on it a little more. I hope it is problem free, but for me I need to 1. get cash for the supercharger, 2. get a beefed up trans and rear end so I can actually use the truck as daily driver/full time towing vehicle. Probably just bolt ons for me until I see people with some miles on their trucks.

That would be awesome. One problem. I don't buy lottery tickets so I'm going to count on you for that. I bought a set of 17 inch wheels. 2 for putting lt tires for heavy towing and I found some slicks that would fit 17's and a truck. I think that's what I should use those two for. It would be a crazy fast truck.

ohh yeah. Havent lost a race yet at the local track. (well one but I was experimenting with traction control so it doesnt count) Destroyed reg cab hemi, a few chevys, pretty close race with 5.3 chevy reg cab turbo but still won. With sc I could race some modded mustangs. Still havent raced a eb but I dont want that war coming to this thread.

I wouldn't worry too much about the trans, unless you are really beating on it. My tuner had his 2011 5.0 Mustang at the track last night, and he was running 6.60's in the 1/8 th at 109 mph! That was with a big Kenne Bell, ARH headers and off road mid pipe, light weight wheels and drag radials. Everything else is stock, even the axle back exhaust! that equates to 10.30's at 136 mph in the 1/4!
