yes, some are to .045
The 2011 gap calls for a lower setting as the 2012 up calls for .049-.053

A while ago, mine (2012 5.0) were at the high side, around .053 when I checked them. I adjusted them to the low side (.049) and I do believe idle improved. I haven't really noticed the missing/stumbling much at all since that.

Replaced spark plugs
My 2011 F150 5.0 has 94148 miles. A repair shop informed me to replace the spark plugs it would be $327.00 and the replacement spark plugs were $90.00. I said thank you but no thank you. I bought the Motorcraft spark plugs for $56.00. I changed all of them out in an hour and fifteen minutes. All of the original plugs were gaped at .060-.065. I gaped the new ones to .045. This was the easiest spark plug change that I have done. Thanks Ford engineers for making it easy to get to.

Been thinking about pulling my plugs on my 2013 to check them. Recently my commute has changed where I now do mostly highway driving. When I am cruising in 6th between 50-60 and give the pedal a slight press (Not enough to downshift), the engine makes a pulsating sound (best way I can describe it) and it kind of bogs for a few seconds until the rpms climb. Is this a result of too low of rpms and lugging the engine or do you think I should check my plug gap? Reading through this thread I saw where some others have described this same thing and said that gapping the plugs down helped. With mine being a 13, do you guys think it would hurt if I went down to .045 instead of the now ford recommended .049. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

From the OP got me thinking, noticed engine running a little sluggish at cold start a few days ago. Decided to check original plugs (52K mileage) just to see if they were the culprit since I just cleaned throttle body and new air filter not long ago. All original plugs once out were measuring .058 to .060. and looked in decent shape but went ahead and replaced with NGK Iridium and re-gapped to .049.
Throttle response seemed a touch better and the somewhat rough idle smoothed out as well, don't know what difference it will make on the mpg, not that it was terrible to begin with (15.6 city / 19 hwy)....will try to update in a few weeks.
