see to me that's pointless. unless you are strictly doing it for sake of argument and if so, why stop there. take out the seats too. heck, the headlights and tail lights are pretty easy to remove. if we are reducing weight, lets go all out.
but once you do that, you don't have a realistic idea of what the truck will run.
when I run my truck it is in the same form it is every day.

I do have one more chance this weekend. Lol. If I do go, hopefully I won't be asleep off the line and can get some cooler temps to help me on my way.

hahahahah, didnt even think about that.
yea, definitely dont remove those items it will not help AT ALL, it's just a waste of time. in fact I think you should ADD weight to the bed. it will help with.....umm..... weight transfer and...... uhhh..... traction. yea that;s it. it will help a lot with both of those.

Don't think you have to worry about umm... weight transfer and..... uhhh traction running 15s in the 1/4 mile. Hey, trying to help with the time on a cheaper level. If it's too much to take some weight off and try for low 15s then cont. doing what ur doing and have a good time at the track.
