5.0 oil comsumption
I check the oil in my truck at 5000km...it was about 1 quart low so i added a quart thinking it might have of been low from factory
after that at 10 000km had the oil change done
now i have 15 000km and check it and it was again a quart low...
I google that and found out that mustang 5.0 have oil comsuption probleme but seem to get away after a while
wonder if anyone have notice this too and should i be alarm by this?

I've heard a lot of new engines are typically using about a quart between oil changes. I'm sad to hear you are experiencing this though, as I have a 5.0 and one of my pet peeves is an engine that burns oil. I'm only at 1000km so far but I'm going to check my oil a couple times over the next week to see if mine is using any.
Remember also that a lot of engines consume oil when they're breaking in, but if you're at 15k already I would rule that out...

Eco-5.0-Eco again
One thing that people do not realize is that a small amount of oil gets sucked into the pcv system and is burned off. The oil tends to splash on top of the head during higher rpm's. It's pretty common for Cobra and Lightning owners to only put 5 1/2 quarts of oil into the engine rather than 6. The reason? Oil caking on the intercooler. I used a catch can on my Lightning and it was filled quite a bit when I used 6 quarts.
I highly doubt that your engine is burning oil, it's going through the pcv.
