Of course since the above trip I drove 200 miles around town only and got 11.55 mpg. So there ya go, from good to bad! Still only 1500 total miles, so things could change.

edit - just recalled that I towed my boat to the ramp and back one time on that tank!

After 3414 miles I have an overall calculated MPG of 16.67. 1500 miles was a trip we took and the rest is mostly 7 miles each way to/from work.

3.31 gears.

Default Unloaded Mileage is Good

I fall right in there with 3400 miles on, averaging 18.8-19.0 mpg (STX Supercab). A scary reality is coming up mid May pulling my travel trailer to Yellowstone NP from central California . . . I don't know quite what to expect!

31,960.6 trip B 17.3mpg
this number was 18 point something last fall, winter blend and cold air kill it. Second winter I've noticed mpg drops to 16-17 in winter, I'm seeing 19-20 already and will till about oct/nov.
Five minute avg. shows 18.7 for today
That's pretty good for my wife (she drove to Peoria today with my Daughter)

I get around 19-20 MPG driving around with my Econ Tune. 22-24 on solely highway driving.

Reset the gauge once to show it was "realtime" average.

Ok guys... Need some input. 2013 F-150 Platinum Super crew 5.5 ft bed with 5.0L and 3.55s. 2400 miles.

Until this past weekend I have only driven in the city. This past weekend I took a trip from Austin to Beaumont and back. On the way I had the 5* 89 tow tune (forgot to change it) and the truck averaged 16.3 MPG. On the way back I returned the truck to stock tune and averaged 16.4 MPG.

These numbers are not bad however they are not close to 20+ some of you guys get. I have some mods (all listed in signature). I do tend to drive fast however the speed limit for a good part of this trip is 75. So I was doing 80 on average.

The kicker is when I had my truck in the shop they let me drive a 2013 XLT with the 5.0L and it was getting 17 or so in town. In town my truck gets around 13.5 MPG. Since I had the wheels and tires transferred from my old truck to my new truck within 2 days of purchase I don't know what my new truck got with stock wheels/tires.

The 22" KMC Chrome slides are heavy so are they the main reason for my MPG loss? Or is something wrong with my truck causing it to have to use more

Once you start doing ANY mods, all bets are off on the mpgs.

Wheels, tires, tunes - anything.

I was consistantly at 21mpg highway and 17 around town. Add the 305 50 20 Terrras on the oem wheels - drop mpgs. Add new wheels - drop again. Add 2" front level - guess what.

I now get 15-16 highway and 13-14 city.

Gotta pay to play

I have been getting 17-18 mpg. I live in a rural little town and do a fair bit of highway driving. I am not unhappy with the mileage.. but...
The window sticker estimated 19 city and 27 highway... I haven't seen anyone on this thread approach the highway estimate. How can Ford be so far off? I thought it was law that manufacturers had to be pretty close with the advertised economy.
My Hemi dodge got 19 and 22. The window sticker said 16 and 23, so I was almost bang on. However I did run mid-grade in the hemi based on manufacturers recommendation.
