My trip B show 17 mpg at 1935 miles. Around town it's 16-17, highway 19-20. Seem to get a better avg. with higher octane, and my best so far was with 93 octane no alcohol-22.5 on interstate. I'm sure winter blends killing it. Now wonder how much 3.55 rear would help,a little too responsive for me off the line with 3.73.
Or maybe I'm just too used to my old worn out chevy???

My truck is a

2011 FX4
Supercab
5.0L
3.73 rear end

I tend to avarage between 15mpg and 18mpg around town (Depending on how many redlights I get stuck at).

I've had it up to 22.5 on the highway at 70mph. The truck currently has 8,100miles on it.

I just did my 2000 mile trip from Vegas to Eugene Oregon, up the I-5.

my overall for this full trip was 17.2 averaging from 65-75. In hill and mountain areas i got better 18s usually. got some 20s in a few areas, and and stretch in the 15s with a head wind.

Truck is a 2011 Screw, Lariat, 3.73 4x4.

2011 FX4 with 3.73. My trip B has never been reset and shows 16.3. This is mostly in town. I've never seen anything close to 20 mpg. I got 19 on the 2 hour trip from the dealer to home. BUT since the purchase was in december, its never seen anything other than winter blend and still has only about 700 miles on it. Hopefully it goes up in the future, but if not, I'm still averaging over 16 all in all with most of it in town. I'm pleased either way.

Exclamation So far so good

Better than I thought so far.
Reset the trip 76 miles (which was the trip home). haven't reset since.
Never over 65mph, mostly flat roads with a few moderate hills. 93 octane with some Chevron Techron added.

So that would be real world MPG. I love it. Good to know what I will be getting with my semi-lead foot!

Got rid of my 12 plat eb for 13 plat 5.0 because of the inter probs. Dealer traded me for, lets put it this way under 2500. No flame against eb's. 700 mi and mi is running 1-2 bettter than eb. Avg 15+ city/country and little on hiway has been 18+. Really like the 5.0

I get around 15mpg for my short daily commute which is about 7 miles one way. On a trip from N. GA to N. IN and back I got 19.99mpg. My best tank on the trip gave me 23.79mpg. Not bad at all. FX2, SCrew, 3.31.
