Does the Mustang and F150 engines share the same intake manifold part numbers? Generally truck intakes have longer runners to promote more low end torque.

The part numbers are the same, but visually you can see that the mustang has a gray top. I believe someone actually compared the two and they were identical otherwise.

for fastening fabric
different intake cams, same exhaust cams, same heads (iirc), different intake, diff headers, compression, piston squirters, same valve springs
the truck, from the dynos i saw, made lower torque than the GT the whole way through, and the GT spanks on the top end. I think the truck was sandbagged so the EcoBoost would have the higher HP rating.
product segmentation, imo, had Ford trying to weaken the 5.0 so the light stays shining on the Ecoboost. If the Ecoboost made 380HP from the factory, I think the 5.0 would've made 370-375. The 5.0s rated HP is a result of the Ecoboost's rated HP, and Ford trying to keep its HP lower than the EB so the layman knows which engine is intended to be better.

From everything I've read on the mustang boards is what was posted two posts above me, it's all in the headers and tuning but I read it was the exhaust cam that was a little different but the vvti is entirely different programming. It's funny all the stang guys want the truck motor for ease of strapping on forced induction.
Now that I have said what I read, what's this arguement about? And why are everyone's panties all wadded up. The motors are very close not like we're comparing a 302 to the 5.0 or an lq7 to an ls

I never said ford made chevy motors, just comparing their truck and car series with are only the same in displacement(lq9 and ls3) like the vvti 5.0 and old 5.0s and 302s only share displacement. Where both the gt motor and the 150 are almost the same motor minus headers, pistons and a slight bit of cam timing along with a small bit of sandbagging.
