300hp or 360hp. Tough choice.
Driven in the same manner, the 3.7 should achieve 10% better mileage as per independant testing. And the 3.7 is by no means underpowered. I test drove both, and the 5.0 is similar in daily driving. Basically the 3.7 is similar but runs 1000 rpm higher when accelerating.

5.0 unless you have more than a 5-mile commute to work. My office is only 2 miles from my home. Gas prices ain't gettin' no cheaper anytime soon.

If there is a difference in steering I would guess that its because of the 150 lbs of extra weight sitting over the front axle in the 5.0L. THat little 3.7L is super light in comparison.

They gave the bigger engine trucks a "tougher" feel with not as much power assist.

It is more likely that they use the same calibrations on the lighter front end of the V6. Hence the lighter steering.
