I've got just over 75,000kms (46,600 miles) on my 2012 XLT Supercab 3.7 F-150. I work out every tank of gas by hand, and my average fuel economy is 18.3mpg (U.S gallon). That is the average with me driving in the city, highway, stuck in snow storms. Everything, you name it. I still haven't done an all highway trip tank yet, but I have got just under the 23mpg highway rating while driving it easy (65mph) on the highway with about 20% city driving. I think that's pretty damn good for a full size truck.

3.7 Screw 2wd here. I have gotten as high as 24.7 on the freeway at 65 but I average 16-18 in the city which is where I spend most of my driving. Also get anywhere between 8-12 when towing my 4500lb. (loaded) travel trailer.
