Keep an eye on it
I was wondering how the new 3.7's in the f150 are doing. Not trying to scare you, but ford has a issue with the early 3.7's in the mustang. This was an engine tick noise though caused by the left bank cam caps not having grooves cut to get oil to the Damb"s on a cold start. It was noticed during cold temps and ford came up with a fix by removing the cam caps and cutting two grooves on each end so the oil volume was increased on the cold start. This did remedy the problem. The special service number for the Mustang fix is I believe 21726. You can go to Allfordmustangs.com and see the thread engine tick. I know this for sure because I had a new 3.7 2011 mustang with this problem. I think I was the first to get my car fixed. Ford has a tool they have to send to your dealer to do the repair with. My car was fine after the fix, but I wanted a truck so i traded for a new 2010 leftover 4.6 2v v-8. They gave me 5500 off the truck and I love the sound the 2v v-8 makes. I hope the 3.7's in the trucks are all good. Good luck

Same here
I went with a Flowmaster SI/DO 40 series original system. I love it. IT is loud enough, but not too much. And my 4.6 2v sounds like a v-8 should. And it cost me 315.00 at maxi, tax and all. Found a coupon in the yellow pages.
