You can eliminate all the issues with this as well as the unburnt fuel and water accumulation in the crankcase correcting the cause/source of all of this. If anyone wants the links, let me know.

Hopefully someone will dyno their truck before and after the TSB is performed. I wonder if it will have a positive effect on power and torque, unlike earlier tBS's that killed power

I think it's for all 13-14 trucks. I have a 13 so I know I have the plastic deflectors on mine. Look and see if theirs plastic shields over your intercooler.

Problem is getting a dealer to do it unless you already have the symptoms.

That's what I was just going to ask. If I brought it in to get the TSB without any issues will they fix it? And from the sounds of it, if they can't replicate the issue they won't fix it. My fiance is planning on buying an Escape Ecoboost soon so I am hoping I can bring it in that day and they will fix it no questions asked. Since I just bought my 2013 from them, I hope I won't get the run around.

A TSB is not a recall so they will not do it on all vehicles automatically. Just go in and tell them that you had the symptoms- stumble, misfire, etc when its raining. If that dealer won't do it go to another. They get paid for doing it so they shouldn't complain.

We have some winners here.

Heard back from my tech. They won't perform the TSB until I can produce the symptoms. He acknowledged the existence of the TSB but he won't really do anything until a CEL appears or I can 100% tell them that I have issues (misfire, stumble, etc).

The plastic covers is easy, we all can remove those pretty easy, the big question is what are they doing to the Computer Controlled brains of the truck..That is the big question..How are they changing your performance to eliminate the limp/shudder issue. Of course somebody has to be the guinea pig to find out and report back as to the loss/gain of mpg's and loss/gain in throttle response and so on..This will be real interesting..Plus I will be curious if the 15's don't have deflector plates also..
