The plug was not cracked at all. I replaced it anyways along with the new coilpack. The one that had been in there a day had very black threads and a very white prong after about 40 minutes worth of driving. (why I didnt keep it).

I'm just trying to figure out what went wrong after your plug change. If everything was working fine pre change, then post change something was wrong, something you did caused it.

On mine, the boots were bad. The plugs were carbon arcing at shorter and shorter intervals.
