A guy I work with had 7000 miles on his '13. New in December. No CEl just a knock. Sounded like a diesel. Half throttle to pull into a parking place at work and the dash lit up and CEL. Ended up being a broken crank. Dealer wouldn't do a total crate engine , just a long block and everything else from his motor

My truck sounds like it has a crankshaft problem! They measured end-play and said it was in spec. I think,like your friend bobo 06, my CEL will come on.Probably engine timing code or knock sensor code. This thing is so new! I will want another engine off the assembly line!

It is a sad day when a new motor is first started up and is wrong and creates clearance issues.
