Neither. Get an ssi tune for the win. I've had all three by the way.

Doesn't look like you've ever owned a 5.0 though...

I'm not sure why that matters. I run SSI Gen 6 in my 5.0 and I walk my buddies MPT tuned 5.0 every time. It's no more than a truck but a win is a win. I do like the feel of the snappy shifts in that MPT tune and his with a 3.55 will bark the tires from 2-3. Its fun but I think it costs him considering I run 3.31 gears on BFG A/T 275/65/20s

Do some searching before deciding what tuner. Look for reviews with lots of new people on it vs reviews with the same people over and over. Should give you a better idea.

I too am running a SSI Gen 6 87 tune and I have 3.55's on 18 " oem wheels and It will flat haul A**! Runs perfect! Awesome DD. I am about to purchase a couple more SSI tunes, a SSI2 87 and 93. Blend your tune with some E85 and hang on! I just want to mention that the eco guys can't blend as much E85 as it can't deliver without upgrading the pump I think. I read somewhere about that so you guys don't damage anything, but the 5.0 can so you can do up to a 50/50 if you want to, but gas mileage will tank.

I ran both mpt and 5 star tunes on my 13 5.0. I prefer the 93 octane 5 star hands down, the throttle tip in is perfect and the power is great for towing.

The really awesome thing about 5 Star is that they offer a warranty program to back up their tunes.

What other tuner does that?
