Look in your owners manual, they lied to you. It's actually in the warranty guide that comes with the manual. Matter of fact they would be considered part of the powertrain warranty as required items for the powertrain to operate which is 5yr/60k but I'm pretty certain they fall under the federal emission warranty like the catalytic convertors and that is 80k miles.

jasonphoto01 ...
  1. bank 1 / sensor 1 = RH (passenger) / front
  2. ROT (Rule Of Thumb) when addressing multiple DTCs is to start with the lowest #(s). In your case the P0030 (and P053).
If it were me, I'd look for some wiring to sensor issue 1st.

I took the -battery cable off and reset it when i left my dads place. The check engine light stayed off till I got about home (60 miles away). What am I looking for in wiring issues? Anything besides the normal...fraying, burnt spots, connections, etc.

Not that anyone routinely looks at their O2 wiring, but ya ... chafed, shorted-out, pinched, loose, etc..

And as Rnlcomp noted ... "Check ALL the fuses in the box under the hood, you can't just look at them, probe them with a test light or dvom".

Usually u get 1 code when an O2 circuit fails so maybe wire cable is damaged as u have lost the complete circuit (O2) or it is actually damaged!
