Default 2013 F150 Codes

2013 F150 King Ranch 4x4 V8

Check engine light came on so I went to Autozone and got these codes...

P2243 - O2 Sensor Reference Voltage Circuit/Open Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0030 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0135 Ford - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0053 Ford - HO2S Heater Resistance Bank 1 Sensor 1

So it looks like the Oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1 is out. correct?

Is that in front of the cat converter under the passenger seat?

I looked up the part but it lists left and right and im not sure what is the correct part to order. Any help with this?

Any suggestions for doing it yourself?

Thank you!

I am definitely a do it yourselfer, but unless you drive a ton and your 1 year old truck is over the warranty, take it to the dealer...

Edit-well then, bank 1 is passenger side, aka right side

Also before spending the money on a new sensor, try crawling under there to see if the wiring is ok.

Those sensors fall under emission warranty 60k + miles but before you do that get a test light and check your fuses.

What fuses should I check? I checked the powertrain fuse labeled "1" and it was ok.

I called Veterans Ford in metairie and they said oxygen sensors fall under the 36,000 mile warranty not the 60,000 emissions.

Check ALL the fuses in the box under the hood, you can't just look at them, probe them with a test light or dvom.

Like I said unless you have more than 60k miles it's covered under warranty.
